Beds for Meirav and Arik’s children
A year after the horrific events of October 7th finds many families still reeling from the trauma.
Meirav and Arik and their six children (ages 5-15) are one of those families. After their apartment building in Ofakim was hit by a rocket, they moved to the center of the country.
Arik works as a truck driver, and Meirav is home raising her children. Under the best of circumstances, they struggle to make ends meet. Today, they are barely keeping their heads above water.
The family is finally moving back but had to find a new apartment; their old one was severely damaged and held too many traumatic memories.
Meirav and Arik’s most desperate need right now are new beds for their children. After all that they have been through, these kids deserve a decent night’s sleep.
