Varda, 38, is divorced and raising two children on her own. Unfortunately, because of both physical and financial reasons, her ex-husband is unable to help her in any way.

Varda moved to Israel from Russia in order to escape the war. She works as a kindergarten assistant and does her best to meet her children’s physical and emotional needs.

Varda’s older daughter is enlisting in the IDF shortly; her younger daughter, Sófia, is in 7th grade.

The family’s most desperate need at the moment is a computer. So much of Sofia’s schoolwork needs to be done by computer, and she is at risk of falling behind her peers.

Varda only wants the best for her family; providing a computer for Sofia is one way we can help her do achieve that.
