Computer for Talia

Total Cost - USD 445
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 445

Talia, 24, had a very difficult childhood but is now making every effort to build herself a stable and successful future.

When Talia was seven years old, her mother was diagnosed with cancer; four years later, she passed away. Talia’s dad struggled to raise Talia and her two older brothers alone. He worked sporadically, finding it difficult to hold down a job.

Talia was a rebellious teenager; she renounced her father’s religious lifestyle and constantly fought with her father and brothers.

Today, the family has built a more harmonious relationship. Talia graduated high school with a major in Psychology and completed all of her matriculation exams. After she graduated, she performed two full years of National Service.

Since completing her service, Talia has worked at various jobs and has successfully supported herself. She has also taken two years’ worth of sewing courses, with a dream of entering the world of fashion.

Over the years, Talia has been in therapy, both through her school and through social services. She is an optimistic, responsible, intelligent and diligent young woman.

In order to pursue her dream of studying fashion, Talia desperately needs a computer, an expense she cannot afford.

There is no doubt that with a little bit of help, this motivated young woman will realize her dreams of a brighter future.
