Computer for Ofira

Ofira, 44, has had a very difficult life but is determined to build a stable future for her children.

Ofira herself had a very damaging childhood; she grew up in abject poverty with a father who had a criminal record and a history of drug abuse.

Ofira has three children (ages 7-24). Her children’s father died tragically four years ago when he fell off the roof of their building. He had a criminal past, was a drug abuser and was abusive towards Ofira.

Ofira is a very devoted mother who wants to meet all of her children’s needs. It’s incredibly difficult, however, as she is completely alone in the world. She works full-time but, in addition to her day-to-day living expenses, she has heavy debts to repay.

Max, Ofira’s 15-year-old son, has been diagnosed with learning disabilities. Her 7-year-old, Liran, is entering first grade. The family has an old computer that is basically useless. If they could get help buying a new laptop, both Max and Liran would benefit tremendously. These innocent children deserve a helping hand.
