Computer for Leah and Gavriel’s children

Total Cost - USD 563

Funded - USD 563

Leah and Gavriel are raising four young children, ages 3-10, and desperately need our help.

The couple’s oldest son, Netanel, has been diagnosed with ADHD. Their youngest daughter, Carni, was born with Down’s Syndrome, as well as with a serious heart defect.

While Gavriel works full-time as a teacher, Leah can’t work outside of the home as Carni’s situation demands endless doctor appointments, therapy sessions, hospital stays, etc.

In addition to the time and emotional toll it takes, Carni’s care is very expensive. Leah and Gavriel’s budget has to include expensive medications, transportation to and from appointments, special foods, and other exceptional line items. Gavriel’s income, along with Carni’s disability stipend, doesn’t come close to covering the family’s expenses.

Leah and Gavriel are incredibly devoted parents who try to meet all of their children’s various physical and emotional needs. It is far from easy though.

At the moment, the family has one computer – it is Gavriel’s from work and no one else is meant to use it. A computer would be a huge help for the kids in terms of their schoolwork. In addition, Leah is hoping to study and look for a job soon so a computer would serve her well too.

This very special family deserves any help we can offer them.
