Beds for Shira and Natan’s children

Total Cost - USD 919
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 919

Shira and Natan are raising four young children (ages 1.5-9); their youngest son, David, suffers from a genetic disorder.

Shira and Natan struggle to make ends meet. Natan receives a monthly disability stipend since being diagnosed with PTSD as a result of trauma during his army service. Shira is currently studying towards a degree in social work in order to enter the work force and contribute to the family’s income. They are desperately trying to stand on their own two feet.

In the meantime, most of the family’s emotional energy and financial resources are directed towards David, who will shortly undergo a serious surgery.

Shira and Natan’s three older children are sleeping on old, second-hand beds that take up their entire room. They have no space for a closet, and their clothing and other belongings are strewn across the beds and the floor.

If Shira and Natan could get help buying a pull-out bunk bed, their kids would be assured a decent night’s sleep, and they could also fit a closet into the extra space. This would improve their living conditions tremendously.
