Beds for Reut’s boys

Reut’s story is heartbreaking.
A single mother to two young children (ages 3 and 6), Reut herself had a very difficult childhood.
Reut’s mother died suddenly when she was a young girl, and she spent a number of years in foster care.
When she was in the army, Reut’s brother died under mysterious circumstances after getting involved with a dangerous street crowd. She was released from her service and began working various jobs in order to help support her family.
Soon after, Reut met her partner Itzik, and they had two sons together. Unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last and today, Itzik has nothing to do with his children.
Reut’s tragic story doesn’t end there – on October 7th, she and her sons were down south children visiting family. They managed to escape but are obviously dealing with severe psychological trauma.
Despite her difficult story, Reut is determined to build a brighter future for herself and her boys.
The family recently moved into a government-subsidized apartment, and Reut is receiving help (both material and emotional) from Social Services.
One of Reut’s most desperate needs right now are beds for her boys. Every child deserves a decent bed to sleep on – let’s make sure these innocent boys have this most basic necessity.
