Beds for Meni and Rinat’s children

Total Cost - USD 791
Still Needed - USD -1
Funded - USD 792

Meni, 40, and Rinat, 38, are going through a very difficult time and desperately need our help.

The couple has three children, ages 2-5. Unfortunately, they recently lost a baby to SIDS. To add to their troubles, their three-year-old son is developmentally delayed and requires extra care.

Meni suffers from Parkinson’s disease. His condition makes most day-to-day activities very difficult; he is on numerous medications and is often hospitalized. As a result of his illness, Meni has also developed emotional issues, including depression and anxiety disorder; he is currently under psychiatric care.

Rinat, who worked full-time until Meni’s diagnosis, now has to be home in order to care for him and their children.

The family’s only income at the moment is Meni’s disability stipend and a monthly rent subsidy. Needless to say, this doesn’t come close to covering their expenses.

As Meni and Rinat figure out how to move forward, their children need new beds. The two older kids are sharing a single youth bed which is an untenable situation.

Every growing child deserves a decent night’s sleep; let’s help Meni and Rinat’s children get one.
