Beds for Avital and Binyamin

Total Cost - USD 735
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 735

Avital, 35, and Binyamin, 41, are raising eight young children (ages 2-16). Binyamin works odd jobs, mostly in construction, and Avital works minimal hours as a telephone service representative. Avital has severe anemia which limits her ability to work long hours. Needless to say, the couple struggles to make ends meet.

In addition to their dire financial situation, Avital and Binyamin also struggle with their parenting skills. Their most challenging relationship is with their eldest son who has been diagnosed with ADHD. He has violent outbursts and is difficult to discipline.

Avital and Binyamin have been attending family therapy through social services and hope to rise above their circumstances. In the meantime, however, they are sleeping on a broken bed with torn mattresses. A good night’s sleep would go a long way towards improving their quality of life. Unfortunately, Avital and Binyamin cannot afford this extra expense.
