Bed for Maor
Galit, 31, and Roi, 33, are struggling and need a helping hand.
Galit suffers from anxiety disorder and depression; it took her some time to seek help, but she is now under the care of a psychiatrist.
Roi worked odd jobs until he realized that Galit needed him home to help her and their four-year-old son, Maor. He is looking for a job that will allow him flexible hours, but it hasn’t been easy.
The family is now surviving on Galit’s monthly disability stipend and rent subsidy.
Galit and Roi’s apartment is neat and orderly but missing many basic furnishings. Their most desperate need right now is a bed for Maor. He is sleeping on an old, unsturdy bed that is too small for him.
There is no doubt that if Maor could get a decent night’s sleep, everybody’s quality of life would improve.
