A therapeutic program for 40 survivors of the Nova Festival
One of the travesties of October 7th was the murder of hundreds of young people at the Nova Festival, which took place near Kibbutz Reím.
The survivors of that massacre are undergoing severe trauma. From day one, many non-profit organizations have stepped up to help this broken community.
These young people need help understanding their rights, a forum in which to unload their experiences and, often times, intensive group and individual therapy. Many of them need financial help as well.
In Netanya, a year-long program has been formulated in order to meet the needs of the Nova survivors from the city. Each person will be assigned a Case Manager who will take charge of the individual’s emotional and physical needs. The hope is to give each and every survivor a place they can turn to as they try to rebuild their lives.
If we can help fund this program, we will have a hand in helping our young people move forward towards a brighter future.
