The social workers we partner with in Hadera have reached out to us with a request for 40 beds for 57 children in desperate need. In these families, parents are grappling with financial and emotional hardships, struggling to make ends meet. For these children, a proper bed is not just a luxury but a basic necessity they tragically cannot afford.

Anat, a single mother of three, is struggling to provide a proper sleeping environment for her children. In their small and cramped apartment, her daughters are forced to sleep on a broken bed while Anat herself makes do on the couch.

Dalya is a single mother who recently emerged from a women’s shelter with her six-year-old son. Despite working full-time as a teacher’s assistant, she cannot afford beds and the two of them sleep together in a broken bed.

Dan is a widower raising three children while battling health issues. With his heart condition and diabetes, he needs a comfortable place to rest and recuperate. Yet, his current living situation provides no relief, with the family squeezed into a small housing unit with inadequate sleeping arrangements.

Together, we can ensure that these children in Hadera have a comfortable bed to sleep in at night.
