Refrigerator for Rinat
Rinat, 52, desperately needs a helping hand.
For many years, Rinat suffered in an abusive marriage; 15 years ago, she found the courage to leave her husband.
Today, Rinat lives in a government-subsidized apartment. She has numerous physical ailments and has also been diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorder. She is under the care of a psychiatrist through Social Services.
Rinat works part-time as a supermarket cashier; she also receives a partial disability stipend. She has numerous debts and struggles each month to make ends meet.
At the moment, Rinat is living without a working refrigerator. Her old one is broken beyond repair, and she stores her few items at a neighbor.
If we could help provide Rinat with a new refrigerator, there is no doubt her quality of life would improve significantly.
