Carni, 46, has three children; one of them is currently serving in the IDF and still lives at home.

Carni, who is widowed, has always worked to support herself and her children. Unfortunately, last year she took a bad fall and has been unable to work ever since.

Carni’s son is now on leave from the army in order to help her; they are living off Carni’s monthly unemployment stipend.

Recently, Carni’s washing machine broke. If we could help replace it, her quality of life would certainly improve.
