Washing machine for Shir

Shir is raising her eight-year-old daughter, Noa, on her own.
Four years ago, Shir and her husband divorced; since then, Shir has supported herself and Noa on her salary as a secretary. Shir’s ex-husband does not pay regular child support, and she struggles each month to make ends meet.
After the divorce, Shir and Noa moved in with Shir’s parents. They are now moving into their own rental apartment so that Shir can try to stand on her own two feet.
One of the basic necessities that Shir is missing in her new apartment is a washing machine. If we could help her buy one, she would be one step closer to living an independent life.
