Tuition for Ronit
Ronit, 23, is a very impressive young woman who deserves a helping hand.
Ronit’s parents are divorced, and she and her sister were raised by their mother. During her childhood, Ronit’s father remained completely uninvolved with the family and never paid child support. Both Ronit and her sister worked from a very young age in order to help their mother with living expenses.
Despite her difficult childhood, Ronit graduated high school with full matriculation exams, did a year of National Service and completed her full army service.
The family’s financial situation is rather dire. When Ronit came home from the army, she would sleep on the living room couch with her sister.
To make matters worse, Ronit’s mother’s emotional state has deteriorated, and Ronit spends a lot of time caring for her. Ronit’s own medical situation isn’t stable, as she has been diagnosed with a chronic illness that demands treatment every two weeks.
In short, Ronit has her hands full.
Ronit now lives with her boyfriend on a kibbutz, where she also works in the nursery. She manages to cover all of her living expenses and is even able to help her mother.
Ronit is also studying for a degree in Chinese Medicine. Through her savings, she was able to cover her first year of tuition. She is now checking scholarship options that could help her cover partial tuition for the remaining years.
Ronit is an intelligent, motivated young woman with great inner strength. If she could get our help covering part of her tuition, she would be one step closer to realizing her dreams of a stable and independent future.
