Galit, 47, needs a helping hand. Divorced, Galit is raising two children, ages 13 and 18, on her own. Her 18-year-old daughter is currently serving in the army, and her younger son is in 7th grade.

Galit suffers from a psychological disorder and receives a monthly disability stipend. She lives a very modest lifestyle and keeps her home neat and tidy.

Galit is an upbeat and positive individual who struggles financially due to her inability to work outside of the home. At the moment, her most desperate need is a new washing machine. Her old one is broken beyond repair, and she cannot afford to replace it.
