Washing machine for Galia
Galia, 35, is struggling to make ends meet and needs a helping hand.
After years of being physically abused, Galia finally divorced her husband six years ago.
After her divorce, Galia spent time living on the streets and bouncing between various relatives. She was eventually granted a government-subsidized apartment where she lives today.
Unfortunately, due to her traumatic past, Galia now suffers from anxiety disorder; she receives a full disability stipend.
Currently, social services is helping Galia in various ways, including trying to help her find employment.
In the meantime, Galia’s washing machine has broken and cannot be fixed. She has been doing laundry at her neighbors, but this isn’t a long-term solution.
If Galia could get help buying a new machine, it would certainly help improve her quality of life.
