Washing machine for Batya and Alon

Batya, 34, and Alon, 35, are trying their hardest to raise their two-year-old twins under very difficult circumstances.

Batya suffers from numerous psychological and emotional issues. She has developmental delays due to violence she experienced during her early childhood years. She was often neglected and was the victim of sexual abuse outside of the home. Today, Batya has been recognized as emotionally disabled and receives a monthly government disability stipend.

Because of Batya’s difficulties, Alon cannot work as he is responsible for both her well-being and the welfare of their twins. While social services assists in whatever ways they can, the couple gets no help at all from their respective families.

Batya and Alon are currently living without a washing machine. With two toddlers, this has a tremendous impact on their quality of life. A machine would certainly make their complicated lives much easier.
