Michal, 39, is divorced and raising four children on her own. Despite her complicated family history, Michal has made every effort to support herself and her children and get ahead in life.

Michal started her degree in special education but, unfortunately, due to a family crisis, she had to drop out of school. In the interim, she decided that special education would not utilize her skills and passions. Michal wants to give of herself and help others, She enjoys working with the body and the senses and is passionate about sports. She is an excellent swimmer and, after much consideration, decided that the field of hydrotherapy would maximize her potential.

The degree is an expensive one, and Michal spent much time and effort researching various scholarships. Through her hard work, she was able to get scholarships to cover part of her tuition. Without help in paying the remainder, she will have to put her dreams on hold. That would be tragic for both herself and her children.
