Refrigerator for Rafi
Rafi, 57, is divorced and has four out of his six children living with him. Rafi’s wife doesn’t contribute to the children’s upbringing, neither physically nor financially. Rafi is currently unemployed and has significant debts.
To make matters worse, Rafi’s house was put under foreclosure, and he will soon have to move into a rental apartment.
Recently, social services succeeded in getting Rafi involved in a program that will help him organize his debt payments, as well as assist him in looking for work. Hopefully, things will begin to improve for him and his children.
In the meantime, Rafi does not have a working refrigerator. Clearly, he cannot afford a new one. Without one, however, he has no way to feed his family.
