Psychodidactic Testing for Lilach
Lilach (8) is prone to angry outbursts. She has trouble regulating her emotions. Lilach has been working on these issues with a social worker and a psychologist, but everyone has the sense that there is a deeper source of the trouble. Discovering this would allow the people around Lilach (including her teacher and her parents) to support her better.
This calls for more thorough psychological testing with a specialist, something beyond the testing that her school can offer. A year ago, Lilach’s father developed such stomach pains that he is no longer able to work. This has thrown the family (Lilach has two younger siblings) into financial crisis. Lilach’s mother has a part-time job as an aide to the elderly, but her wages do not make up for the loss of her husband’s salary. The testing that could do so much to help Lilach is simply out of their reach. |
