Refrigerator for Anat and Carmi
Anat, 30, and Carmi, 31, married young and have six children, ages 3-10. Their oldest son, Maor, is developmentally delayed and needs extra supervision.
Carmi completed his full army service and studied construction. He was out of work for a period of time due to back problems but is now working for a contractor. Anat also served in the IDF; however, she never studied beyond high school or learned a trade. Today, she is unemployed due to health issues.
The family of eight lives in a rent-subsidized apartment and receives a monthly government stipend. They struggle each month to make ends meet and have accumulated heavy debt.
Anat and Carmi are determined to break the cycle of poverty they’re living in. They recently joined a social services program that helps struggling families build a sound financial plan and explore employment opportunities that will raise their income. They want to provide their children with a better future.
As Anat and Carmi work towards a brighter future, they need a helping hand. The family’s refrigerator recently broke and cannot be repaired.
WIth six young mouths to feed, this determined young couple needs our help buying a new refrigerator.
