Oven for Nitzan

Nitzan, 18, is a highly motivated, responsible and social young woman. She and her brother have been raised by their mom, who works in a catering company in order to support her small family.

Nitzan has always dreamed of performing her army service in a combat unit. In order to achieve her goal, she participated in a social services program that helps young people prepare for for the army. She attended sessions regularly and took her assignments seriously. As such, she succeeded in placing in a combat unit and will enlist shortly.

While attending school, Nitzan always worked part-time in order to help her mother make ends meet. Once she enters the army, she will obviously not be able to contribute to the family income.

Nitzan and her family recently moved into a new apartment, which is completely unfurnished except for two beds. Nitzan’s mom managed to get hold of a second-hand refrigerator, but they desperately need an oven.

Nitzan is determined to build herself a stable future. Right now, however, she and her family could use a helping hand.
