Oven for Gila and Barak

Total Cost - USD 365
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 365

Gila and Barak, both 43, are trying their best to make ends meet but are having a very rough time.

Gila works as a customer service representative; Barak works as a prison guard. Unfortunately, despite their double income, they are still struggling.

Both Gila and Barak have children from their previous marriages. Gila has 19-year-old twin sons who are serving in the army and live with her parents. The boys have no contact with their birth father, and Gila supports them. Barak pays child support for his children as well which puts a huge financial strain on the couple; they are deeply in debt.

Gila and Barak have two young children together, ages 4 and 6, both of whom have developmental delays and emotional issues.

Gila and Barak are doing whatever they can to improve their situation. They are moving apartments so that they can lower their monthly rent. Unfortunately, the oven in their current apartment belongs to their landlord, and their new apartment doesn’t have one.

If Gila and Barak could get help buying an oven, it would certainly make their move a little easier and help them get started on the right foot.
