Laptop for Revital and Leba
Revital and Leba have been raised by their grandparents.
Oleg is 72 and despite diabetes, the loss of vision in one eye, and the need for surgery on one foot, works part-time as a security guard in order to supplement his pension and social security payments.
Natasha is 69, has heart problems that have required two stents, high blood pressure, and back problems.
The grandparents struggle to pay the girls’ school costs, but have managed so far.
What they cannot buy is the computer that their granddaughters need in order to complete homework assignments. Oleg and Natasha recognize the importance of a laptop for high school, but cannot stretch their budget to cover one.
