Rafi is a young man with severe schizophrenia. He has stopped taking his medication and lives with his mother, who cares for him and supports them. She is only able to scrape by each month.

Rafi spends a lot of time in his room, on-line on his desktop computer. When it started to break, he tried to fix it himself but ended up dismantling it down to its nuts and bolts.

Rafi has started to unravel without his computer. His mother also needs the respite that a replacement computer would bring to their home, but she cannot afford a new one.

A new computer would help the two of them cope with a very challenging daily situation.
