Hydrotherapy for Kfir
Kfir, an innocent 4-year-old boy, needs our help.
Kfir and his twin sister, Talia, were born prematurely. Talia is developing normally, but Kfir is developmentally delayed and has been diagnosed with autism.
Yael, the twins’ mother, stopped working during her high-risk pregnancy. She hasn’t gone back to work since she needs to be available to take Kfir to his various therapies. He also suffers from a lethal nut and egg allergy which means he needs constant supervision.
The twins’ father, Natan, works for an electronics company. His salary alone is not enough to cover the family’s monthly expenses (they have an 8-year-old son, as well). Yael and Natan struggle to make ends meet, and there is certainly no money left for “extras”.
Recently, Kfir’s physiotherapist from gan recommended that he go for weekly hydrotherapy sessions in order to improve his motor skills. While this would be incredibly beneficial to Kfir, his parents cannot afford the added expense.
