Fridge for the Moskovsky Family

Total Cost - USD 718
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 718

Sarah and Ivor have had a difficult aliyah. They and their six children have had trouble integrating and have needed a lot of support from social services. However, they are all determined to stay in Israel and to make a life here for themselves.

Sarah cannot work because of chronic health problems, including asthma and heart issues. Ivor is a general worker in a store, at a very low salary. He cannot do anything that requires physical effort because of back pain stemming from a ruptured disc.

The family’s refrigerator dates from 2004. It leaks constantly (they keep rags around its base), runs weakly, and it is likely to give out at any moment. Reliant solely on Ivor’s earnings, the family does not have the resources to purchase a new one.
