Dalia, a 77 year old widow, made Aliyah from Ethiopia nearly 20 years ago. She has struggled from the beginning and is now living off only her monthly Bituach Leumi stipend.

One of Dalia’s most pressing problems has been dampness and mold in the ceiling of her dilapidated apartment. This issue has, in turn, caused serious electrical problems, as a result of which Dalia’s refrigerator has died. Clearly, she cannot continue living without a working refrigerator and has appealed to us for help in purchasing a new one.
