Often it is the children who suffer most from their parents’ hardships. Vered is divorced and raising three children on her own. She has always had trouble holding down a steady job since two of her children suffer from serious health issues and often need her full attention. Their illnesses have also taken a toll on her finances as their medications and treatments are costly. The last job Vered held ended when the Corona crisis hit, and she was put on unpaid leave.
Talia, Vered’s 13-year-old daughter, is currently learning at home. Unfortunately, the family’s second hand computer is broken and can’t be fixed. Vered desperately wants Talia to have a new computer so that she can keep up with her studies and improve her lot in life.
