Computer for Rina and Shai’s children
Rina, 34, and Shai, 39, are trying their hardest to raise their five young children on a shoestring budget. Rina doesn’t work outside of the home, and Shai works as a kashrut supervisor for a local butcher. They live off of Shai’s small income and a monthly government subsidy.
The family lives in a cramped four-room apartment with minimal furnishings and almost no toys or distractions for the children, ages 1-10. Rina and Shai believe that their children would benefit greatly from a computer. It would be helpful for schoolwork and provide enrichment for the children after school. Unfortunately, Rina and Shai cannot afford the expense, but a computer would no doubt improve this family’s quality of life.
