Oleg, 27, is completely deaf and communicates through sign language. He is, nonetheless, extremely intelligent and motivated. Finding a job despite his handicap has been difficult however. He turned to his town’s social services for help but before the process had generated a position for him, the program was closed because of Corona.

Oleg firmly believes that he can find work on his own, if only he had a computer with which to conduct the search. Oleg lives in a one-room apartment with his father and brother. Their only income at the moment is Oleg’s disability stipend. This amount clearly doesn’t cover the needs of three people. It certainly doesn’t cover the cost of a computer.
