After Odelia completed 12 years of education in ultra-Orthodox schools, she served in the IDF in various logistical support roles. Happy with what she was doing, she continued beyond her required service. When she and her boyfriend decided to get married, she left the army in order to move forward with her life.

Odelia, 26, now has two sons, ages 2 years and 11 months. Her relationship with her husband was a difficult one, and he is currently in prison for abusive behavior. The couple is now separated, and Odelia is completely on her own with no family support. According to her social worker, she is a determined, dedicated and very smart young woman. Odelia will no doubt be able to make a living and break out of the cycle of poverty if she can just get past her current circumstances.

With a baby at home and no childcare, Odelia would ideally like to work from home. If she owned a computer, her options would be far greater. Odelia deserves our help, as she so clearly wants to help herself.
