Computer for Livni
Reut, 40, is a loving and caring mother to her 10-year old son, Livni. Tragically, Livni’s father died when he was an infant. Reut works as a cleaner, and her salary is quite low. She focuses as many of her resources as she can on supporting Livni, who is a curious, verbal child with high cognitive abilities. Diagnosed as autistic, he struggles in school and finds social situations difficult.
Livni desperately needs a computer in order to complete his schoolwork. Having one would also allow him access to enrichment activities and would fill his empty afternoon hours. Unfortunately, Reut does not have enough money to buy Livni the computer that he so badly needs.
