Barak, 18, is an impressive young man. Both of Barak’s parents are cognitively impaired. As a result, Barak was sent to boarding school through the end of high school. Barak graduated this year with all of his national exams completed. He is currently living in housing provided by social services for at-risk youth that have no family support.
Barak is now studying for two more years in order to earn a college degree in Engineering. He will then complete his army service. Barak is an intelligent and motivated young man who is determined to build a successful and independent life for himself.
Barak receives no financial or emotional support from his parents. He works as many hours as possible in order to cover his living expenses. In order to successfully complete his studies, Barak desperately needs a computer. He obviously cannot afford this expense. With some help, Barak will have the opportunity to pursue his dreams and build a brighter future.
