Computer for Adina
After Adina’s parents divorced and neither was able to care for her, social services sent the 12-year-old to boarding school. Now 20, Adina has little contact with them, and they offer her no financial or emotional support.
Nonetheless, Adina has proven that she is able to take care of herself. She finished 12 years of schooling and did two years of National Service, fulfilling her position responsibly and diligently.
She is now enrolled in a program that trains youth at risk for positions in hi-tech. Adina is studying hard, but she needs a computer of her own in order to attend classes remotely and turn in her assignments. With little income, Adina cannot manage to buy herself the computer that she so desperately needs.
