Computer for Adam and Gila’s Children
When Adam went to prison three years ago, he threw his entire family into a crisis. He wife, Gila, 40, works part-time, and is doing whatever she can to help their children. The kids, now eight, 11, and 12, are suffering from serious emotional shock, which has influenced their behavior and their studies. All three are receiving therapy but moving forward has been difficult.
Complicating their academic struggles is the fact that they need a computer to complete their school assignments, but Gila cannot afford to purchase one. A computer would help the children find some successes, while also bringing pleasure to their time at home, itself a bonus. Gila recognizes the value that it would bring, but has no way to acquire it on her own.
