Clothes dryer for Tamar
For most people, a clothes dryer is not a necessity; for Tamar, however, it is.
Tamar is divorced and has ten children; seven of them (ages 6-18) still live at home and five have been diagnosed with autism.
Because of her circumstances, Tamar cannot work outside of the home. She supports herself and her children on disability payments and a monthly government stipend. She struggles every month to make ends meet.
Recently, Tamar’s clothes dryer broke which has made her life very difficult. Her apartment is very small, and there is little room to hang dry the loads of laundry that she does daily.
If Tamar could get help buying a new machine, her quality of life would certainly improve.
