Bunk Bed for Olga and Avraham’s Children
Although she is married, the entire burden and responsibility for supporting the household and raising their five children falls on Olga’s shoulders. Her husband, Avraham, leaves for his Torah studies early every morning and does not come home until late at night; he does not help her with the children or the house either physically or financially.
Olga works in customer support but her earnings barely cover the rent on their apartment. It is difficult for her to find money for food and clothing and for the children’s school costs. And there is certainly nothing for any other expenses. The youngest children, three-year old twins, still sleep in baby beds that are much too small for them – their feet stick out of the end every night. Their seven-year old has only a mattress on the flood.
All five children need beds for a good night’s sleep. Olga recognizes this, but has no way to provide the beds that would make all the difference.
