Beds for Ziva and Aharon’s children
Ziva, 39, and Aharon, 37, are raising eight young children, ages 2-15. Aharon is currently unemployed, and the family is surviving on a monthly government stipend and Ziva’s disability payments.
Ziva has been diagnosed with PTSD which was brought on by things she experienced while completing her army service. In addition, she had a bad accident last year, and now suffers from chronic back and leg pain. Despite all of this, Ziva is determined to enter the work force and is now being mentored in how to move forward with the process.
The family’s home is neat and orderly but missing many basic furnishings. One of the children’s bedrooms has no furniture whatsoever. As a result, two of the children sleep on the living room couch and one sleeps on a fold-away cot. If Ziva and Aharon could get help buying beds for their children, everyone’s quality of life would greatly improve.
