Beds for Talia and Moshe’s children

Talia and Moshe are raising two young children, ages 5 and 7. Both parents suffer from schizophrenia and are unemployed. The family of four survives on Talia and Moshe’s disability stipends.

Talia and Moshe are incredibly devoted parents to their sons. They struggle, however, to set borders and to stick to a daily schedule. Recently, they joined a social services program which aims to teach them effective parenting skills. They are determined to do better.

The family’s apartment is tidy and sparsely furnished. The boys are sleeping on beds that are too small and unstable. They also have very thin mattresses. Yosef, the seven-year-old, has started complaining of back pain.

Every growing child deserves a decent bed to sleep on; let’s help Talia and Moshe’s boys get a decent night’s sleep.
