Beds for Sigal’s children

Total Cost - USD 990
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 990

Sigal, 45, is going through a very difficult time. She and her husband had eight children together and, two years ago, they divorced.

Today, Sigal is raising their children (ages 4-24) single-handedly. Six of them still live at home with her; two are currently serving in the IDF. Sigal’s ex-husband pays no child support, leaving her truly on her own.

After the birth of her last child, Sigal suffered post-partum depression. She is now receiving temporary disability payments. Sigal is supporting her family on these payments, along with a monthly government rent subsidy.

Sigal and her six children live in a cramped four-room apartment. Two of her children are currently sleeping on old, broken beds. While Sigal cannot afford the cost of new beds, these growing children certainly deserve a decent night’s sleep.
