Computer for Nina’s children

Total Cost - USD 500
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 500

Nina, 51, is a single mother to five children, ages 11-29. Two of her adult children live on their own; her 28-year-old daughter, however, has emotional issues and lives with Nina, along with her two-year-old daughter.

Nina moved to Israel from Ethiopia 20+ years ago. For years, she worked full-time as hospital support staff. Two years ago, she had to stop as she began suffering terrible pain in her limbs. Nina was eventually diagnosed with a chronic joint disease and today, she has trouble completing even the most basic everyday tasks.

Nina is now supporting herself and her children on a monthly disability stipend. Needless to say, she struggles to make ends meet.

At the moment, one of Nina’s most desperate needs is a new computer. The family’s old one is broken beyond repair, and her two younger children need a working computer in order to keep up with their schoolwork.

It would be terrible to see these innocent young children fall behind their peers. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.
