Beds for Rebecca and Shai’s children

Rebecca, 28, left school at the age of 16. Since then, she has not continued her education nor has she been able to work.
Her husband, Shai, also 28, learns in a kollel. As a result of growing up in an abusive home, he suffers from various chronic behavioral and emotional syndromes and a personality disorder that make it difficult for him to adjust to everyday life.
The couple relies on Shai’s disability payments and his small kollel stipend to cover all of the family’s needs. Rebecca is the primary caretaker for their four children, ages eight, six, four and two.
Currently, the three boys sleep on a single mattress in their bedroom, while their two-year-old sister has a small mattress on the floor of her parent’s room. The children need real beds, but Rebecca and Shai have no way to pay for them.
