Beds for Ora and Yarden’s children
Ora, 33, and Yarden, 42, are raising three children under difficult circumstances. Yarden owned a business that went bankrupt five years ago. Due to a series of family tragedies, he has since been diagnosed with depression and has been unable to hold down a job. Ora was working as a secretary for a law firm and was put on unpaid leave during the Corona crisis. It is unclear if she will be brought back to work. To make matters worse, Ora was diagnosed with Lupus and suffers from constant joint pain.
With no current income, the family was forced to turn to social services as they had no food for the kids to take to school. They live in an old, run down apartment furnished with the bare minimum. The children are currently sleeping on old beds with torn mattresses. Ora and Yarden desperately want to give their children the opportunity to get a good night’s sleep.
