Beds for Noah and Temima’s Children
Noah, 37, is often crippled by anxiety attacks. They are so severe that he cannot work or parent well. He also has OCD, suffers from depression, and is an alcoholic (who has recently returned from treatment).
The burden of running the house and caring for their six children (ages 4 to 13, two of whom seem to have learning issues), therefore falls almost completely on his wife, Temima, 33. She has been looking hard for work, but has not yet found a job. Their only income is Noah’s disability stipend, which Temima cannot stretch to cover all of the needs of a family of eight.
Two of her children are sleeping on the floor because they do not have beds. They would benefit from a good night’s sleep.
