Beds for Liat and Rafi’s children
Liat and Rafi are raising five children (ages 8-18) and need our help.
Liat works as a counselor in a youth hostel; Rafi has his own business installing security cameras. The family was doing fine until a number of years ago when one of their children was accused of criminal activity.
Liat and Rafi’s lives quickly unravelled. While trying to keep their family emotionally afloat, they worked fewer and fewer hours and fell into debt. The children all suffered terribly, and Liat’s physical health deteriorated.
Over the past two years, Liat and Rafi have received a lot of help from social services and are slowly getting back on their feet. They are motivated to rebuild their lives and provide their children with a secure future.
The family recently moved into a smaller home in order to save money. At the moment, their most urgent need is new beds for the kids. Their old ones were completely broken and couldn’t be moved.
There is no doubt that if Liat and Rafi could get help buying a pull-out bunk bed, the family’s quality of life would greatly improve.
