Beds for Irit and David’s children

Total Cost - USD 990
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 990

Irit, 34, and David, 34, are raising four young children, ages 3-13.

When she was 20, Irit and her partner had a baby. It was an abusive situation and, after their second child was born, Irit was able to break free of the relationship.

Soon after, Irit met David, they got married, adopted a religious lifestyle and had two children together.

Unfortunately, after her fourth child was born, Irit began experiencing panic attacks which eventually led to agoraphobia. She had trouble functioning and couldn’t hold down a job. Irit also suffers from a vision problem which further complicates her daily life.

David works odd jobs and the family survives on his sporadic income, along with a monthly government stipend. Needless to say, they struggle to make ends meet.

The family’s house is sparsely furnished and what little they have is old and broken. Currently, they are all sleeping on mattresses on the floor, as Irit and David cannot afford to purchase beds.

Their pressing need right now are three beds for the their three oldest children. These innocent young kids deserve a decent night’s sleep.
