Beds for Gila and Chaim’s children
Gila, 35, and Chaim, 37, are raising their four young children (ages 3-12) on a very tight budget. Chaim learns in a yeshiva and receives a monthly stipend; Gila works as a kindergarten assistant. Their combined income barely covers the day-to-day expenses of a family of six.
To add to Gila and Chaim’s worries, their oldest son, Gavriel, has been diagnosed with autism. They are currently applying for disability benefits for him.
Right now, the family’s most desperate need is new beds. The three older children are sleeping on old, broken beds with torn mattresses. The three-year-old is sleeping in a crib that he has long since outgrown.
If Gila and Chaim could get help purchasing new beds for their children, there is no question everyone’s quality of life would improve.
